About us
Founded in 2018 as a labour-only scaffolding contractor, Dan Smarts Access Solutions (DSAS) has since expanded into a full-service supply and installation specialist, offering a complete range of scaffolding services, including passenger and goods hoist installation, scaffold inspections, and fully certified, insurance-backed design solutions.
With our scaffold yard conveniently located in Hertford, DSAS is well positioned to serve projects throughout the Home Counties and London.
We take pride in our qualified, experienced team, who prioritise safety and professionalism in every aspect of their work.
Management
Daniel, the Managing Director, brings 17 years of experience in the scaffolding industry, having previously worked with Tier 1 firms like Benchmark and Lyndon Scaffold Contractors.
During this time, Daniel gained essential skills and experience by managing large-scale projects across London, equipping DSAS with the expertise needed to provide all scaffolding services with professionalism and a strong focus on safety. This commitment led DSAS to be selected as a labour-only subcontractor to manage and execute the external scaffolding work for the refurbishment of Harrods, SW1X 7XL.
Following the Harrods project, DSAS has expanded to handle smaller projects, now offering comprehensive supply and installation subcontracts that deliver the same high quality of service as a complete solution for our clients.

With over 17 years of industry experience, Dan understands the high-risk nature of the field and prioritises health and safety as the foundation of our business. He ensures that all training and methods are continuously updated and fully compliant with scaffolding regulations and guidelines, safeguarding the well-being of all our operatives.
